DR Automation that Natively Understands Amazon Web Services Workloads

While traditional backup solutions focus on your data, Arpio was designed to protect your entire environment from catastrophic downtime. Once connected to your environment, Arpio continuously captures the latest data, configuration, and dependencies of your EFS workload. Whether you are using EFS for scalable file storage with Amazon EC2 instances, ECS clusters, or other services in AWS’s growing library, Arpio has got you covered.

Built on AWS Best Practices to Provide Resilience to Any Outage

Arpio is built on AWS APIs and with AWS best practices in mind, and is constantly evolving to ensure your disaster recovery solution keeps pace with the innovation of the cloud.

Arpio’s DR support for EFS builds on AWS Backup’s cross-region, cross-account backup capability, but takes it further to recover all of the infrastructure and data that participate together to deliver the workload.

Failover

Restore Your Environment in Minutes and Minimize Downtime

In the event of a disaster, Arpio makes recovery easy, even if your source environment is unavailable. Arpio is a pilot-light disaster recovery solution, which means your recovery environment will always be staged and ready to go when you need it most. In the case of a failure, just clicking a button in the console will launch the rest of your recovery environment in minutes.

Arpio also automates cumbersome manual recovery operations. In the case of EFS, Arpio will restore the hostname of EFS file systems, so that the servers that mount those file systems don’t need to be reconfigured to point at the new file system after recovery, eliminating complex manual steps that would extend recovery time and outage duration.

Failback is an Arpio feature that allows you to quickly and easily copy the most recent data from your AWS Recovery Environment back to your Primary Environment

Achieve Continuous Data Loss Protection for Your Entire Infrastructure

When using Arpio to protect your EFS file systems, Arpio will recover not only your file data, but also all of the configuration and network dependencies necessary to recover quickly. File systems are recovered to look exactly as they did in their original form, ensuring mount points and access points are recreated identically. Arpio also automates the restoration of file system paths that are altered when restored by AWS backup.

Arpio Automation

Maintain The Security and Sovereignty of Your Workloads With Seamless Orchestration

Arpio is a SaaS solution, so there are no agents to install and no servers to manage. Setting up your entire disaster recovery solution takes less than 30 minutes. Simply connect Arpio to your environments and select the primary resources you’d like to protect; Arpio natively understands their dependencies and will automatically discover the rest.

Our customers trust us to keep their applications protected and secure. That’s why we have developed the industry’s leading security model among SaaS backup solutions. Arpio cannot see your data, take data out of your account, or do anything destructive in your production environment. Your applications remain secure, because Arpio doesn’t need privileged access. With Arpio, you get comprehensive disaster recovery protection while maintaining total sovereignty over your applications and your data.

Arpio Protection

How to Protect Your AWS Elastic File System Assets in Just 3 Steps

Curious about how to get started protecting your EFS Service? Set up is easy:

1. Connect Arpio to your primary and recovery environments

Arpio connects securely to your primary and recovery environments in accordance with AWS best practices for working with 3rd parties. When setting up an application, Arpio will generate CloudFormation templates for you to install in your environment to set up an IAM role-based trust relationship.

2. Define Your Recovery Point Objective

Arpio can support a recovery point of mere seconds up to 24 hours, depending on your business needs. Tell Arpio what your recovery point objective is for this application, and our software will do the rest.

3. Select the Resources for Arpio to Replicate

Once connected, Arpio will automatically discover all of the resources in your environment and their dependencies. Just check the boxes by the EFS resources you care about, as well as the other services that support the workload, like S3 buckets and compute resources, and Arpio will discover the rest.

Once you hit save, Arpio will begin its first back up and start to replicate resources to your recovery environment right away. That’s all you need to do to get set up!
