SSM Parameter Store DR Now Supported With Arpio

Arpio is happy to share that it has further its extensive disaster recovery automation for workloads built on AWS with the release of disaster recovery support for AWS System Manager Parameter Store.

With Arpio protecting your SSM parameters, your configuration values such as passwords and database connection strings will be replicated to your recovery environment alongside all of your mission critical services, so that no time is wasted on manual reconfiguration during a recovery. Arpio will also replicate allowed patterns, descriptions, and all expiration and EventBridge notifications in the parameter policy. Like all supported Arpio resources, failover for Parameter Store is supported across AWS accounts and geographic regions.

Arpio understands that Parameter Store is often used for storing sensitive data, so your configuration is managed securely. While managing DR for your Parameter Store, Arpio cannot see sensitive data such as Secure Strings in your environment.
